Information we collect

• Information you provide. Your name, email address, website, and any business details you submit through our forms or in the course of using the Service.
• Google account information. If you connect your Google Calendar, we access the list of your calendars, your free/busy availability, and the calendar events Collie creates on your behalf, as described below.
• Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, used to operate and secure it.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, schedule and manage meetings, respond to inquiries, communicate with you, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Google user data

Collie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect a Google account, Collie requests three narrow Google Calendar permissions and accesses only the following data: (1) the list of your calendars (their names and IDs), so you can choose which calendar receives bookings and which calendars count toward your availability; (2) free/busy information for the calendars you select, meaning the times you are busy and nothing more: we never read the titles, descriptions, attendees, or any other contents of your existing events; and (3) the calendar events Collie itself creates for your bookings, which we can also update or delete when a meeting is rescheduled or cancelled. Collie does not request full access to your Google Calendar: we cannot create, delete, or share your calendars, and we cannot change your calendar settings.

We use this data solely to provide the scheduling features you request: the calendar list to let you configure Collie, free/busy information to show open time slots on your booking pages, and event creation, updates, and deletion for meetings that you or your invitees schedule. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, or other Google services. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide the Service (for example, to the cloud infrastructure providers that host the Service), with your consent, or as required by law. Meeting invitations are delivered to your invitees by Google Calendar itself. Google Calendar data is never provided to AI or machine-learning models, never used to train such models, and never shared with third-party AI services. We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized. You can disconnect your Google account at any time to revoke this access; when you disconnect, we immediately delete the stored credentials (OAuth tokens) for that account.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, database, and infrastructure providers), and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Collie or others.

Data storage and security

Information is stored in secure, access-controlled databases hosted by reputable providers, and is transmitted over encrypted connections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Google Calendar data is kept to a minimum: free/busy information is processed only to compute availability and is never stored; the only Google-derived data we store are the IDs of the calendars you selected, the IDs of the calendar events Collie created, and the OAuth tokens needed to keep your calendar connected. Disconnecting your Google account deletes those tokens immediately, and deleting your Collie account removes the rest. You may also request deletion of your information by contacting us; we honor deletion requests within 30 days.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may disconnect any connected Google account at any time. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
